ABOUT ME

Therapy is my passion. I am dedicated to providing the best treatment for my clients. I believe in my client’s ability to use their strengths.  I have the utmost respect for their courage, resilience, and ability to make a change. I tailor my sessions to best fit my client’s needs.

My specialties include children experiencing complex trauma, emotional imbalance, depressive symptoms, anxiety, and exhibiting defiance. I also specialize in helping women get unstuck from their past, process and unravel trauma, and gain confidence so they are able to find their true selves. Women's empowerment is near and dear to my heart. I have organized events and workshops for women.

I am trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT). I use CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), solution-focused therapy. I incorporate mindfulness in the session to enhance awareness. I provide practical tools that are helpful for achieving positive outcomes in a short time. I

On a personal note:

I always wanted to get actively involved in the community and make my career in social work. My 12-year experience of working with at-risk children at elementary schools fueled my ambition to get a Masters's degree in counseling. I enjoy working with my clients and see them make progress in life.

I have been a guest on the Facebook parenting group, providing advice on positive parenting, dealing with trauma with children and mindful self-care during COVID-19. I have presented multiple workshops on mindfulness at the Sacramento Employment and Training Agency.

Serving as a president of the Sacramento Valley chapter of CAMFT, provided me with a unique opportunity to connect and grow.

In my spare time, I like going for hikes, gardening, reading, and having fun with my loved ones.

I look forward to working with you.

Thanks for visiting.
